Daycare center Woutershof provides daycare for a large group of both physically and mentally challenged adults. Two volumes -clad with slate- overlap each other, resulting in a large roof-light above the main corridor. The corridor is oversized to allow activities to take place within this large space. The shape of the building plays an active role in the use of sun and shadow. The warm color of the cladding embeds the building in its natural environment.
