SOCIAL HOUSING

51-row houses had to be designed in a newly developed, featureless, "Vinex" Area. Due to the low budget, a quite standard typology was applied, albeit with subtle improvements. The openings of each façade were then combined in one large one, shared by the various rooms. The resulting cost savings were used to increase the size of these windows to a great extent, resulting in a light, pleasant dwellings with 40 percent of the façades being glass.
