The aim of this housing facility for the mentally disabled is to offer a more socially integrated life for the inhabitants. Therefore the building is situated in an existing neighborhood. The entrance and supporting facilities at the corner of the building are having a public character. The rest of the building has a dark façade behind a screen of white birches, forming a subtle filter between the neighborhood and the inhabitants of the building.
