This playground, part of a carefully renovated 100-year-old school, is situated in the courtyard of an old housing block on the Rotterdam peninsula Katendrecht. Existing trees and a bamboo forest were integrated into the new plan. Together with additional new wooden objects, they create a natural and stimulating environment for the children. A playful fence of chestnut wood poles both divides and connects the housing and the school area.
